Alumni Stag Night

It’s about that time of year again. We had a great turn out last year and we hope that more alumni show up this year for the 2nd Annual Ohio Alpha Alumni/Active Stag Night! The unofficial starting time will be 2 P.M. on Saturday, May 1st. Although as alum the Red Door is always open, and we hope to see you earlier. Here are some details.

• 1. This is NOT the same as Homecoming. It is a time for alumni to come back and relax and see brothers they may not have seen in awhile. There will be no “brotherhood” to talk about finances. The only money talk that will be taking place will be collecting money on behalf of Saddie Mae Lyons. If you do, however, have any questions about the finances or state of the house, feel free to talk to an alumni board member that is present.


• 2. We now have golf reservations made for Hidden Creek the morning of the 1st at 10 am. The reservation is for about 20-25 guys so if interested please let us know in the RSVP. The cost is $25 per person. That includes 18 holes and a cart.


• 3. The sand volleyball court and cornhole boards will be set up during the day.
• 4. Food will be served at the house, around 5, provided by all of the actives.
• 5.As far as sleeping arrangements go, we now have a group reservation at the Inn for May 1st. The rate is $99/room if we fill all 10 rooms and $125/room if we don't. However, more rooms MAY be added. Currently we have 9 rooms with two queen beds and 1 room with one king bed. If you are interested in making a reservation, please contact the Inn at (419) 772-2500 or (866) 713-4513. Please make the reservation under the Sigma Phi Epsilon Alumni Weekend group rate for May 1st and have your credit card handy! This reservation DOES include breakfast the next morning. Also, you can plan on crashing at the house. We're looking into the possibility of using the attic as a place where guys can sleep as well.
